Lazlo is also "Uncle Rico" in Napoleon Dynamite. ;D Yeah John Gries is a great character actor. He was Detective Tony in the movie "Running Scared" with Billy Crystal and the late great Gregory Hines.

Yeah, I know. I saw a shot and just HAD to take it. I'm sure Craig can steer you down a short path to Wes Montgomery coolness. BTW, have you heard or heard of Johnny A? He's got a very cool "chord/melody" style that you MAY like. Johnny A is a monster player. I saw him last year and when he did the instrumental of "Wichita lineman" it blew me away. Great player. Yeah, he is a monster. Never been to one of his shows. The bad thing is, he's probably played somewhere near me and I never even knew. Plus he is one of only a handful of guitarist that my wife would actually enjoy seeing.

He played a local club here last year. I figured it would be packed with guitarists. Not more than 20 people showed up. It was a cool month. Got to see Eric Johnson, Derek Trucks, Johnny A and Robert Cray all at the same club.

That's too bad Johnny A had such a low turnout, but WOW...what a cool month indeed! If I saw all those guys in one month, I don't know if I'd be super-inspired to play, or if I'd be bummed out and get all depressed cause I can't play like that. LOL
