There may already be a thread for this somewhere that I haven't seen yet, but does anyone know if Splawn plans to eventually have any combo amps? I personally would love to have a QuickRod combo down the road to take to small venues, church, etc..just wondering if there had been any talk about it. I know they are busy so it probably won't be anytime soon.

Yea.. still love looking at it hessien!
It is a competition loaded in this amp like Vomhalen said. I would call Splawn, I know they have everything completed to make combos now. I believe they can do a QR PM or a comp. I went with the comp since I already have a QR. I do think sealing off the speakers with a baffle will make this thing kick better. but man roll off on to a dirty clean and it's NICE.

I'd love it if one day Scott would doa combo amp that had a little less gain to it. More like an old vox combo AC-30 or something like that, that focused more on the clean side of things than the heavy. I'd buy one in a heartbeat. -Brent

Hack, Has Scott and co. done anything about the excessive mids; lowering the overall height of it? Seems like that was your only complaint. Will they be the same as yours or modified a little if/when Scott begins production? Yea.. still love looking at it hessien! It is a competition loaded in this amp like Vomhalen said. Well i am not giving up.I have to buy a 1x12 combo. As i have said before,i go into prisons to play, and all equipment must pass threw scanners.Nothing is working that i have tried. After buying a 09 quick rod. That is the sound we love.So we must move forward on this combo.Scott can do it we all know. For cost savings, and size somethings will have to be eliminated. We could use less gears ,frankly a 30 watt el34,with loop volume would be the answer.use a, overdrive pedal in the front for screaming solos.Effects loop for delay. This would be all.KNOW, the old saying.Put your money were your mouth is.To start something like this is expensive, and with today's economy ouch!.Splawn is not a Huge company that has endless supplies of money.BUT he has alot of loyal people.I am calling to everyone to help this happen. I am willing to put 1,500.00 in this.Other people have been wanting this amp,and everybody on here is a gear head that has alot of stuff they could sell to make this happen. A mesa lone star combo goes for about 1,700.a suhr badger goes for 2,000.What would a splawn combo be?blues city music; {WHO HAD SOLDANO MAKE HIS OWN SERIES} rebel, and other dealers could help ,call them. All music store will tell you .There selling combos not stacks. This could be hurting splawns? In closing lets all pitch in and help make this happen.Like it or not, into days music stages a combo is a must ,Or you might be playing a effects board straight to the pa.I would love to have a proto type, named the,,,,HOLYROLLER.my money is waitng.1,500.or 2 ,000,. ALL CHIME IN!!!!!!

If Scott could make something like the bugera 22 ,i would be sold. JD i saw that amp,it's just a head stuck in a 1x12 cabinet.

I seen some clips on u-tube a few months ago and checked them out for the other guitarist in the band( low $). Their customer sevice was almost completely shut down because tons & tons of their heads were being sent back due to them breaking down. From what I could gather they are NOT reliable at all. That may have changed since I looked. I think they're a 5150 clone pretty much. P.S. I just want to chime in for a kt88 supercomp(bo) That would kick all kinds of caboose ;D
