Scott said it just sounds awesome. We are soooo lucky fellas. So lucky. I pride myself in researching equipment and having a general knowledge of what's out there and I tell ya, there ain't nothin' out there like Splawn. Splawn amps, ownership and customer service are the standard that all others need to copy.

Nice amp! 40 watts with a half power switch? I wonder what a 20-watt QR sounds like...  I could put a single British Greenback in there and not risk blowing it any more. Strange that the Big Block is the default, when SB25s became the most popular Splawn speakers. In fact, do we know how it's voiced? Is it indeed a 40/20 watt Quick Rod? That would be bitchin'. As a weakling, what I'd really like to see is handles in the sides like a 2x12 has, it's always a hassle using those strap handles on the top. But maybe it's not that heavy, having just one speaker. |

Perfect just the way it is.Very classy looking.Splawn has nailed the look.I bet it has it's own voice.I am sure will hear some singing out of the street rod soon. Can't wait.

It is voiced similar to a QR. The combo sounds amazing!! The Big Block speaker sounded great in the combo. You can choose any colors for anything, plexi stripes, racing stripes etc... Sound clips for the street rod will be coming soon, then you can here it for yourself. thanks for all the support from everyone.

mini splawn is pretty sick!! I could not stop listening to people play it. We were so busy today, i didn't get to play it much. The SR on the website is Scotts personal combo that he will use at church and around the shop.

I stopped by the shop today for a listen. WOW, it sounded fantastic! I know he'll be making a lot of these.
I asked Scott about an el84 version but he felt that the el34 tube was better for keeping the sound nice and tight especially when gain is involved.

I guarantee you healthy YouTube ratings! good idea. you have to be careful with first clips though. one bad clip can ruin sales I'm sure. i just stopped by too. sounds freaking massive! i will be putting a deposit as soon as the budget allows. |
