I say ,if Scott could make just the cabinet portion of this. We could slide or chassis in the head compartment ,BAM THE BEST COMBO OUT THERE.

I am liking the cabinet thing. you could just pop your comp right in there. He will be able to do a comp combo. While we wait for the production models.

:)I'm with loose cannon. Definitely easier to carry separates. Better cardio too!

This would be about half the weight and size.Whole thing would be about 24 inches high,27,wide ,and depth would be about 11.I just sold my pro stock and 2x12 cab.If i am going to the trouble of a 2x12 and head, i will just use my 4x12.

You could just buy a 1x12 cab, i'm sure a a splawn combo like the badger you posted won't weight half as much as a head and 1x12 cab, maybe a few pounds less, and like I said it would still be more uncomfortable to carry. It seems to me you just like the idea of a combo, but that's cool

BTW I just checked out the Suhr site, the Badger 18 Combo weights 55 pounds, the head weights 25 pounds, it doesn't have the weight listed for the 1x12 cab but an average one should be around 40 pounds, so that's 65 pounds for both, a 10 pounds difference.

There isn't a separate weight for head and cabinet it is all in one.It is just a reference point. There are ways to down size everything.Like i have said, i think a 4x12 is the best ,but just looking for something more realistic for for some gigs.Like size of stage, room needed for transporting, ect. If you can bring a 2x12 then you might as well bring a 4x12.We use carts for moving things in and out so weight is not that big as the room big cabs are taking up.There is a few more wanting a combo on the forum also.I just need all the tools needed for playing.
