You misunderstood me, Suhr sells a Badger combo, and a Badger head and cab, the combo weights 55 pounds and the head and cab together weights 65 pounds. The head and cab are carried one at a time so the max weight you're gonna carry is 40 pounds.
Anyway, there's advantages and disadvantages to both options, everyone have their own prefrences.

This shouldn't be ticking people off. There is a real need for a splawn combo.Be it low wattage,or what ever.A quick rod would be best clean and dirty.Scott is working on one. There have being alot of asking for one.Cream city music up here in WI,has only sold 2 halfstacks over a year period, were on the other hand he has sold hundreds of combos.Same thing at guitar center.Yes, most combos SUCK,but i just bought a Electra dyne [looking for 2 yrs],and it sounds like a 2x12 or 4x12.Splawn combo Can be done.

I would LOVE a Splawn combo. I've even thought of getting a Splawn head and 1x12 but we all know that would be cumbersome. A combo would be sweeeeeeet. Just a nice little 1x12.

IMO, for the combo to be worthwhile, it has to be a 1x12 and it has to be around 50lbs or less and reasonably compact. Anything much heavier or in a 2x12 format doesn't make sense to me -- it's easier to move a head and cab than a monster 2x12 combo.
If Scott can achieve this, in a low wattage format (18W or 30W), with the same features as the QR/PM format, with comparable tone -- then I'd say he's got a winner. I would buy one in a second.
