nuno did shine a little bit durin' extreme 2, but never wide spread like some of the other guys we've mentioend before...brata, lee, dimartini so I think I'd have to agree...I think he came too late onto the seen..he would friggin' ruled the world if they broke big in the early 80s

LOL These guys hardly get mentioned...LOL jimmy page hardly gets mentioned?...he's on the cover of any given guitar magazine probably every 9 months....LOL

I think Jimmy Page was a master of riffs. Zeppelin is just such a great band. Think of all the memorable riffs that Page wrote. He definitely is no technical genius when it comes to playing lead but who cares. The riff to Kashmir is just awesome! ONly person who's even come close to writing as cool a riff in D is Warren Demartini with "Lay it down"

He definitely is no technical genius when it comes to playing lead but who cares. The riff to Kashmir is just awesome! ONly person who's even come close to writing as cool a riff in D is Warren Demartini with "Lay it down" *cough* *cough* ......fair warning has some of the best riffs in D ever...unchained....hear about it later.... i agree though...lay it down is one of the greatest riffs ever...

It's early here. Sorry you're right. Edward does rank up there with some killer riffs from that album. Not only a killer riff but a master of using FX in the right places.
