I haven't been using pedals in the last year, but when or if I have too I gotta run through my Valvulator. Best thing ever invented for people that hate rack sh1t like myself.

ahhh....seems pretty cool... now, my question is, if you're running a delay...will it sound as good using it with the valvulator as it would running it in the loop?? let's face it...a delay straight into the amp ain't the best sound....sounds great in the loop though...

+1! A must-have item, IMHO. It makes a HUGE difference in your tone if you have 40+ feet of cable in front of your amp like most of us do when gigging.

I don't know I run through this whole board and I have no problem with tone loss at all. I bought a similar buffer once and it made absolutely no difference on my sound so I sold it.

DD, that is an atrocity that you use that many effects. I would be less embarrassed if somebody posted a picture of my sister blowing Al Sharpton. You really need to take this weekend and re-evaluate what's going on in your life.

Basically, you plug your guitar into it first, then do whatever else you do with your setup. It stays the same after the valvulator. One extra cable...

Actually my Vox has been modded to be true bypass by Keeley so no tone loss there, ont even low end loss with the gain/bass knob. It's also good to have a decent buffer in your signal chain. A lot of people think all true bypass pedals is best but that's not true. Too many TB pedals kill your high end and a good buffered pedal will help restore that. The Ibanez and Boss both have good buffers. I'm not saying it sounds exactly the same with the board plugged in as w/o it but really the difference is negligible and mostly anal.

Holy fook, there's more pedals in that photo than I've owned in my lifetime. By the time the signal makes it through that chain it must have the dynamic range of a mouse-fart.

Haha, wait till I build a BIGGER board! I have about 2 more pedals I want to add that I can't fit. ;D It really doesn't kill the tone if you know how to set it up and how to choose good pedals. George L cables are key also.
