Anyone who would buy (or not buy) an amp based on the effects loop needs to take a serious look at what they are doing not only as a player but as a performer. There are alot of ways around this, try the VHT Valvulator w/ your pedals and straight into the front of the amp. No tone loss, no loop needed. Try going into a pro studio with your rack full of bullsh1t running through your loop and watch as everyone laughs at you for being such a NOOB. Anyone who would put their gay fcking effects above the stand-alone sound of an amp needs to sit down and re-evaluate what they are trying to accomplish. When things are said and done, there is always another effect you can run in a different way, but the sound of a good amp like the Splawn is much harder to achieve in the overall scheme of things... and if your effects are more important then your tone, just buy a fcking line6 and save yourselff some $$$. + 10000 ;D ;D ;D This is what I was trying to say 3 pages ago . hey guys, remember when marshall was building amps back in the day with NO fookING EFFECTS LOOP?!?!?? some dudes sure did find ways around that back in the day =)
would I like the effects loop to be non fizz at mouse fart volumes? sure..is it a deal breaker? fook no...if I want delay, I tweak my DD 20 and put it in front when I'm playing that quietly...
at gig volumes, it's a non issue..hell, if anything, the effects loop being engaged adds a little MORE gain and makes the amp easier to play..which is neato if you're a delay addicted hack player like myself =)
hey, these dudes should drop three grand on a soldano...so they can have the effects loop MODDED because it was only intended for rack level effects...
and yes, Kate Beckinsale is proof that there is a God and He is indeed good....she could use a good spooging from the shredman
