Thanks guys but that's not it. Not sure what the deal is. THere is something about this site/proboards that doesn't like my computer. Links rarely work for me here. But that other video you posted gtr showing me how your phone records worked fin.

That’s strange since they were both recorded on my phone. Lol

That’s strange since they were both recorded on my phone. Lol It's not you. I'm convinced it has something to do with my laptop/settings and proboards as I don't have any trouble on any other sites other than this one for the most part. Here, on proboards, I can't just click on a link and it automatically launches another browser tab. I have to copy paste the link myself manually. Just pasted your youtube link into a new tab just now and it worked fine. Nice playing and nice tone my friend.

Thanks man. I have issues on my iPhone with R-T. It won’t let me post anything. I can browse just fine but can’t interact.

Pickups are ordered! Ended up going with H Breeze set after giving your video another listen through my good monitors. I have a strong feeling this won’t be my last set from him though so I will probably end up owning a Rocket Queen as well. Have you gotten the pickups yet? Installed? Thoughts?

Finally got them about a week ago. Put them in my Les Paul and while the neck sounds great and just what I wanted, I think there might be an issue with the Bridge pickup. Sounds very thin and weak, almost like I’m only getting one coil. I think my wiring job was solid but I haven’t gotten around to pulling the back cover and redoing the connections. Just have been busy with life and have been using my PRS and SG at practice. I’ll get around to it this weekend hopefully as I think we’re taking the weekend off.

You probably know but these pickups use the Gibson wire colors. Just an FYI.
Also, you may need to flip one of the pickups hot and ground....you might be wired out of phase.

Ive been away for a while and something completely uplifting happened yesterday. I finally got a matching (almost) Splawn 4x12B square bottom bass cab with Big Blocks and Small Blocks in an X pattern! The cab arrives Thursday and my friends are all coming over to wring out the Quick Rod hooked up to the matching cab! I say above “matching (almost)” because the cab is a newer one than my head. My head is black Tolex and the new cab is black with a white panel in the center of the top and bottom. So it’s just a cosmetic thing but nothing I can’t live with. I may just try some black vinyl dye on the white panels OR see what Scott would charge me for a new head box that matches the cab. I have been using a Marshall 1960B loaded with Marshall branded Vintage 30’s and we all thought it sounded sick as fuk but by all accounts here and elsewhere the Splawn cab w BB&SB’s is echelons above and beyond my Marshall cab with a QR. I’m planning to run both cabs together after we hear the Splawn cab dialed in. I can’t wait! Attachments:

Hi Briman, great to hear from you again brother.
I am in the process of re-organizing my office which is my studio and music room.
Once I have everything set up I'm going to up load a bunch of pictures.
I've got some really funky pedals too that will no doubt get some grins!
I'm planning to buy another Splawn head when I get my income tax return Feb. 2020. Maybe a Nitro or another Quick Rod. Love the QR. it's like the ultimate amp.
More soon, best regards, rod burner
