splawndude could you do some power chords/chugging kinds of things? You mentioned a clip with power chords but I didn't see it... Here it is. Let me know if the link doesn't work. I did a chugga chugga one too but the phone's mic was completely overwhelmed. Clip city.

That link worked. I can hear it get brighter with the treble on 0. I’ll have to recheck mine. I don’t think it works that way for me. But I’m not 100% sure.

It is kind of subtle and may not be mojo per say, but there is def something to it for me. If you check out that Rig-Talk thread I created there were quite a few people chiming in that it worked for them. Recto's, JCM 800s, others. www.rig-talk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=204185For me, I think I notice it more with heavy stuff than I do vs these clips I posted. Also, sorry for getting the thread completely derailed.

I do that with my JCM 800. The treble frequency in that amp is much more harsh. I use the presence to dial in the high end.

QR into A cab loaded with x pattern of mojotone watch tower speakers and 2 ET-65's. 2 of my Lesters a 16 trad and 78 Std have mojotone 59 clone humbuckers, my 80 standard has vineham sweet V 59's, and my SG has a Duncan sh-16 and a Gibson 57 in the neck. Pretty simple rig I run into a cry baby into a ce-2 chorus and a boss tuner. I was running a Nova system, but had some hissing issues and took it out of the chain for now. With the guitar half way down about 117db on the meter and good to go... I do however run 300k linear taper pots on the treble volume I like the way it rolls down the volume, on my necks I runn 300k audio tapers with a small treble bleed for cleaning up. Which crybaby are you using? stnd 95 plain old wah. I do want to convert to true bypass. The guitar straight to the amp sounds amazing but some of the war toys are necessary !

Just wanted to add a little something here, when I was waiting on my preamp tubes to show up I swapped my H-magnet Greenbacks out for a quad of Small Blocks I had in the closet. And of course after I got my tubes in I really liked what I was hearing.
And out of curiosity and my never ending need to tinker, I decided today to stick my greenbacks back in the cab to hear them with new preamp tubes. And I have come to the realization that I do not care for H-Magnet greenbacks with this amp. There is some kind of overdriven cone/ speaker break up thing going on that is quite unpleasant to me. I’ll be sticking the small blocks back in and never looking back I believe.

Cvogue and I use the same one...the Crybaby Classic. Not any more...
My Crybaby Classic had a volume boost when engaged that really bothered me.
Got myself a Colorsound clone. No volume boost and it's got an LED which I realized I wanted...
But it is true bypass which is crucial for us Splawners!

Strange...I don’t have that boost. At least I haven’t noticed it. The lack of an LED bothers me too. I might have to mod it for one.

Yeah I was thinking about getting it modded for an LED but that would cost almost as much as getting another wah, well half as much... It can be done DIY but it's not a trivial change... well not for me.

I’ve never tried it myself but I am rather handy with a soldering iron if I do say so myself. I may give it a go.

Gtrjunior, could you share some info on getting into contact with fokin? I’m wanting to try a set of his humbuckers in my les Paul but I can’t figure out how to order from them to save my life!
