Congrats Gtrjunior
I've been lurking in here. Glad it all worked out. Congrats on getting them in yourself too. I've messed around (practiced) with my soldering iron but not sure I'm ready to do pickup swaps on my own. Luckily I'm good for now in that department.

It's actually not that difficult. If you can bias your amp, and I KNOW you can, you can solder in pickups

That is a sweet looking guitar! I love Fender with a floyd and i always move the volume knob away so it out of my pinky's way! So nice to have a single coil pickup at neck!

Very cool.
I blacked out my Strat when I did my pup upgrade (Duncan Custom Custom). All black.

The pick guard really made a big difference aesthetically. I always hated the location of the volume knob on a Strat. I always hit it with my strumming hand and shut it off! I never saw a reason to have 2 tone knobs either, so for me it just made sense to eliminate one and move the knobs.

Not just yet...it isn't set up at the moment and I have a jam/rehearsal coming up so I didn't want to set it up and have to break it down again...

Glad you sorted it out, looking great on the Strat Did you tried it through the Splawn? I set up the QR last weekend and of course tried the Strat with the Fokin's. I'm sure I don't have to tell you....absolutely ridiculous sounding. So clear and articulate yet thick and meaty. I'm really happy I went with these. Thanks for posting your video and recommendation!

You are welcome man, I'm happy that I was able to help. I've been fortunate to have an opportunity to try those pickups. I liked them a lot, so I thought someone may also find them to be appropriate for their style. And it was fun lol. Happy that you like'm too.
