In light of the Echoplex thread, which is probably going to end up nuked...I thought I'd add my two cents here rather than derailing that thread. Hey, this is an internet chat forum...we all need to understand that the written word doesn't do inflection or facial expression very well. That being said, it is often difficult at best to determine when someone is being sarcastic or has a generally "harsh" disposition. Add that with a dash of ego here and there, coupled with a strong personality or two, sprinkle that with a teaspoon of nobody liking to back down...and the end result is a recipe of senseless insults and attacks. I'm not directing this at anyone in particular...heck, I've seen this exact behavior on about every forum I've ever participated in. Instead, my point is that we are all drawn to this place by one common trait...we dig Splawn amps...let's not forget that. I've learned invaluable information from EVERY SINGLE PERSON that has posted on this forum...and I can tell that I'd have no problem breaking bread with any of you if the occassion presented itself. I don't see the need for the kind of personal attacks that have taken place...can we put our personalities and personal differences in perspective? I mean, this is just an internet forum...and we all dig Splawns (and other amps, music, guitars..etc.) If I met any of you in a bar, I'd look forward to buying you a beer...if the discussion got ugly, you'd be buying your own beers, and we'd just go our seperate ways. ...sorry if this comes off as preachy...it's just that I don't get the severity of the personal attacks. Ya'll be cool know, ya hear?  |

there's been some name calling back and forth, but i'm weary on just deleting threads...i really am..(except the ones with my soundclips- those get deleted) ;D

If anyone should delete a clip it would be my classical mistake riddled clip. Talk about letting your guard down,, how many people would post a clip with tons of mistakes,,, well aside from Shreder75

I could never sing that good in a million years and the guitar playing was really good too, 20 years old, thats really something. |
