best of luck with that show don...sounds like a great place! Thanks man. The Splawn will be tearing heads off! I can't wait to see the look on the other bands faces when they hear what a pro amp sounds like. Sorry Marshall and Mesa owners, put your toys back in their boxes!

You can do it! Seriously who practices on a Friday night? Friday & Saturday nights=fun and gig time. Sunday & weeknights= practice time. get it right bro:) When else will ypu get to see a Splawn tear it up on a big stage with a 25,000 watt sound system?? and you call yourself an endorsee...

yep...my brother was CFO (that's chief financial officer to you shreder...) for the whole HOB corp...went to meetings with Akroyd there the whole shpeal...he gave me a Gibson HOB (house of blues) special Gibson Nighthawk blues guitar (promotional) that was left over after a bunch o give aways...he said the company would be out of business if it weren't for the amount of money they make on alcohol on 'Mexican' nights etc......the 'ooompa' bands bring in the drunken latinos and they buy lots o beer...AAAAHHH...HHHAAAA!!!! ARIBA! ARIBA!

Wow that's cool. Do you still have the geetar? I can tell you that this venue does real well here in Jersey. They got some good acts that pack the joint almost every time. Its nice not having to go to NY or Philly to see the "bigger" names.

shred, i just got an email from scott, he said that you need to read the fine print in your endorsing contract... section 2 paragraph 4 states "endorsee needs to support other splawn players by making public appearances at the above mentioned splawn players' shows...or else contract is null and void"
it's all there in black and white

Wow that's cool. Do you still have the geetar? I can tell you that this venue does real well here in Jersey. They got some good acts that pack the joint almost every time. Its nice not having to go to NY or Philly to see the "bigger" names. didn't play it...sold on ebay for about $700....had gold hardware...simi hollow, cool guitar...I'll have to ask my brother which HOB's were the most profitable...he was there in mid/late 90's...

I think they made a smart move by expanding their genres and incorporating more than blues and blues-rock because that stuff just doesn't sell as well now. You get gotta keep up or get left behind. This place was just built in either 2003 or 2004, plus the Tri-state area has no problem selling out shows.
