Joel Stroetzel's nitro got to him today, I set him up with one to try, so far he says it kills. It goes on tour with him starting tomorrow! Everyone keep your eyes peeled!

ain't no thang...and their latest album is pretty good too from what I've heard off of it..MAJOR riffage..end of heartache was ok and the one before the newest one was ok as well...

I can't wait to talk to him about it at namm!
EDIT: just got another text...adam wants one too haha...
But looks like we may have another splawnee for sure now! EDIT: or 2

they used one tonight in allentown if that's where the show was! I'm pumped. If adam gets one that means he'll use it recording at Zing records/studios.

YES!! it was Allentown and he did use it there..i was at the show and i can tell you it did rip BIG TIME!!! i knew he was using it last night and was coming on here to post the big news but you guys beat me too it!!(i haven't been on here for a few days so i didn't see this post until now)
here is the story-
i was talking to the 2 guitar players for parkway drive before the show and we started talking about gear and i told them i had a splawn nitro coming and had owned a pro mod,they said they have never heard of splawn so i gave them a quick back story on them and a idea of what they were and what they sounded like and told them that Joel had a 2x12 splawn cab. so they said they were going to check it out. about 5 minutes later they come back into the bar and asked me(in my best Aussie accent) "what kind of amp did you say you were getting mate??" i told them the splawn nitro,they asked "have you ever heard one?", i said only in clips on the splawn page and i liked it enough to get one since i already had a good idea of what it was since i did own a splawn amp already,and they said "well you'll hear one live tonight because Joel is running one!!" they were pretty shocked to hear about a amp from me and then see it as part of the headliners rig that very night. they said he decided to use it after sound checking it and being blown away by it!!
i can expect the same sound since i use the same setup as them(they both use maxon OD808s and boss NS-2s in front of their amps) i can now say that it can not get to me fast enough if THAT is the tone i have to look forward to!!
for the record his tone buried Adam's last night so i know for a fact he'll be getting one as well so he doesn't get his a*s kicked by the power of splawn every night!!!

ya know, that maxon OD808 is a GREAT pedal...out of all the boost that I've whimsically put in front of my quickrod, that one sounded the best by far
