that idiot from the white stripes is on the cover.... oh cripes...not surprising though..in today's musical climate who the hell are they gonna put on the cover who can actually play? most of the guys we know and love are either older than dirt or nobody's ever heard of..at least kids comming up who read those types of magazines...

Thats fine,, as far as I'm concerned the more guitarists that Jack White influences, the more work I'll continue to find as a musician. I mean c'mon theres a whole generation of hacks coming along just waiting to be PWN'ed by us old dudes.

I mean c'mon theres a whole generation of hacks coming along just waiting to be PWN'ed by us old dudes. Yeah thanks Kurt Cobain!!! LOL!! I remember seeing an interview in Guitar world back in the 90's and it was the Guitarists from "Blind Melon" and they were ripping on John Petrucci. They were saying some mean things about his style and playing. They also had a reply the next month from John Petrucci who outclassed them and said "I guess that's their opinion" Never said anything bad about them, which a lot of bad could be said about them. But I guess in the end it all works out. I'm sorry where is Blind Melon these days? Who played guitar for them? I honestly have no clue at all. But I know John Petrucci is still ripping in DT and laying it down every night on the G3 tour. ;D
