I see alot of the new bands ripping on real guitar players and claiming"they play what's right for the song" etc...it's sickening.

I remember reading about the guys from Mudhoney and Pearl Jam totally making fun of Yngwie and Paul Gilbert.
That idiot got sued by Jimmy Page for stealing his licks.. Pearl Jam couldn't get arrested now for anything whilst Yngwie and Gilbert continue to tour the world successfully year after year.
I agree axeman, you know if those douchebags wanna compare songs, compare your songs to some Beatles tunes. They wrote 900 of them! If your gonna play guitar, then play guitar or shut the fck up.

who was it? I think it was Billy Corgan was asked what he thought of Dream Theater's Pull Me Under and he said something like 'there's no need for a song like that'...WTF does that mean? and he was a genius? jerk...

Ya know some of these fcks have some talent,(not many though.) But when the no talent ones say stupid shiiiiiit about some of the most talented/skilled players it's just ludricrous. And many have....
That's like a painter throwing random colors at a canvas and putting himself on a high professional level , then saying Michaelangelo's work is not necessary or "over done" ..you get the point.
