No, but it's identical to the 1992 CE-24 that ends today except it's a 1993.

There are some beautiful blue CE-24's on ebay right now but I really want a pre-factory model. Maybe at some point I'll get another PRS (a custom) and try something newer since I can't afford a pre-factory custom at the prices they are getting for them now.

Thanks Shredder. I know what you mean. The first time I played my Boss' PRS it didn't move me. I borrowed it again and I loved it. I think it has a lot to do with what guitar you are playing at the time. I get used to my Les Pauls, then my strat feels weird for a little while and vice versa. The PRS sounded really really good on the Quick Rod.

speaking of prs's..I just got back from guitar center...tried a few out...the CE22 had a neck like a friggin' baseball bat! so no way about that one..
the CE24 played easier, but I think the fretboard's too wide...
of all the guitars I played, I like my lynch the best...
heck, I should just get another lynch then huh? lol maybe the maple tiger one..we'll see =)

The 22 and the 24 are actually the same width, it's just that the thinner neck on the 24 makes it feel wider. Like I said, when I played my Boss' CE-24 at his house I didn't like it. He came over to check out the Splawn and brought it with him. After I heard how good it sounded he let me hang on to it for a week and play with it. I got used to it and really liked it. If I hadn't borrowed it and played it for several days, I may have never gotten one. It doesn't feel like my Les Pauls or my strats. It's all it's own and it felt weird at first.

I know what you mean. I was going the ebay route until I found this one online from a guitar shop. The guy was really cool sending me pictures and answeing my questions. He said that if I don't like it, I can send it back and it will have only cost me $35 for shipping since he would pay shipping one way too. I really can't go wrong on the deal in my opinion.

Well, my PRS is on the way from UPS. The only problem is, I live 20 miles off the coast in Texas and it looks like Rita is going to pay us a little visit. It's in Houston right now so I don't know if I will be able to get to it if they deliver it and leave it on the porch like they always do. I also have Journey tickets (that I bought for my wife for our 16th anniversary) to the Houston show Friday night. I have to send my wife and kids outta here and decide if I will stay or not.
