Since this is more of a metal amp, are the mids scooped? Seems like a lot of the metal guys like the mids scooped a little.

what didn't you guys like about the nitro? will everyone dump their qr's for the nitro, or is it marginally better/different?

I personally didn't dislike anything about it. It RAWKS!! I still love my QR and have never found a problem with it either. Some say the QR is unforgiving. I say......practice more. LOL!! One thing for sure, the Nitro plays itself. It's one of those amps. It still maintains everything Splawn and will be a big hit for those who love gain, low end and even a bigger hit with at home players. This thing sounds just as good at low volumes as it does at high. We're talking Zakk Wylde type OD at low volumes. Harmonics just jump out at you. It's still boggling my mind how it does that. I love that thing!!!

I love it when I'm broke and I has AMP GAS again.. Thanks Scott,, thanks alot man! Hey consider yourself lucky you didn't go and play it or hear it in person. That hurts even more! I think I would easily ditch my Pro Mod for the Nitro but I would rather be able to keep both. Of course for now, I will do neither because I'm broke. I WILL own one someday though, no doubt about that.

Hey guys, I just ordered a QuickRod about 2 months ago. It's supposed to be built this month, but after talking to Scott this morning, I've changed the order to a Nitro! I'm so excited! Especially after reading your reviews on it from the weekend. Thank you guys for giving so much info! I'll let you know how it sounds!

i dug the pics of scott, the mad scientist, in his lab.
i know you guys gig and and don't need a forgiving amp, but i play in my room and suck, so i need something that will make up for my mistakes and short hair.
i also like the idea of a resonance knob vs. the od/od2 thing.
do you have a choice of colors with the nitro?
