Hey guys,
I'm a bit of a Newb and worse still I'm from the UK! I've been interested in Splawn since I got to support Fozzy last year with my band, Rich's Pro Mod pretty much destroyed everything else on the stage. This included my Powerball, which I thought at the time was the greatest thing since sliced bread.
A year later I'm finally hoping to order a Nitro and the ENGL has moved to a new home. I know that the clips featured the Nitro with KT77's, but what kind of difference would the EL34's or KT88's have on it's sound. I'm sure this is something I should know, but I just haven't had much chance to experiment with different tubes etc. Any help would be gratefully received:-).
I've yet to hear back from Scott following my initial inquiry but I think I finally know what I'm after. So will fire off another mail.
