It was alot of arm work! I had to make full length strokes of the neck with cupped paslm to ensure consistant contour removal. Very tiring. But i am very happy with the result and guitar plays so much easier now.

Looks great! Very noticeable difference too! How different is the feel of the neck with the tru oil as opposed to the lacquer finish that was on it (I’m assuming it was lacquered)

Yeah it was laquered. Now it looks like it is lacquered but feels like there is no finish on it. My hand doesn't stick to it anymore. So it is faster now but looks like it did before. That is because of 3 very light coats of tung oil and light buffing with paper towels 5 mins after each coat and then steel wool after it is cured. Heaven.
