I’m going to put together a layout on paper and I’ll run it by you and get your thoughts. Sometimes just when you think something is perfect, another set of eyes can help you see something you might have overlooked!!

I was just checking it out and if i put the killswitch where the volume is, i can reach it with my pinky with my palm on the bar. Not ideal but better than where it is now and having to use left hand to use it!
So i think you should put it up where the wolfgangs have it and can use your index finger on it.

I just looked at where it is on the Wolfgang. It is a damn good spot...problem is (I think), that in Scott’s SS1 design here isn’t a rout in the CNC program for a cavity in that spot. 1) I’m not sure Scott would do it. 2)if he did I’m sure it wouldn’t be cheap. 3) I can live with it where the current volume knob is located. I think what I might ask him to do is like this pic... The volume knob will be the kill switch The tone knob will be the volume knob( push/pull for cool split) and instead of the 3 way blade selectors I’d prefer a 3 way toggle. I like how these Control knob are out of the way.

You could also route the cavity yourself as it only needs to be 1.5 inches wide and circular. The you could use a long drill bit to dill from the trem cavity across to the killswitch cavity and run the wires through there and into the pot and jack cavity.
Up to you. It will be ok where the volume is too if you use your pinky or if you have huge hands....your ring finger.

Briman that's some pretty sweet gear. What speakers are in the Splawn cab ? gtrjunior I think your kill switch idea will work. Scoot can add the second knob and the 3 way toggle is how I ordered mine so thumbs up. Have you decided on a color yet ? I think that grey with sparkle would look good. Talk with scott he can email you some color samples.

Cool! I’m glad that I can be able to tweak the layout. My first thought in a color is Daphne Blue, like the Monsters of Rock one on the website. But if you scroll down there is a grey one with a hint of blue with a really light sparkle that I love too.... I might ask about having a tiny, and I mean tiny bit of sparkle added to the Daphne Blue....just not sure though. Choice overload!!!

Hopefully for quite a while! 😁 They are eminence Governors with Man o Wars in x pattern. Sound better for my taste than my creambacks but haven't compared to my greenback cab yet.

Hey Gtrjunior I just did another killer trade lol. I honestly don't know how i find these.
I traded 3 universal guitar cases, an old crybaby wah, a Boss Chorus Ensemble and a beat up wolfgang bridge pickup for an EVH wah, EVH Flanger, EVH Phase 90 and a George Dennis volume/chorus flanger pedal.
I now have two pedalboards complete for both splawns. I had to drive an hour and 20 mins to meet this guy but it was worth it in my opinion.

That’s awesome!! Well worth the drive imo. I’m in the process of getting a few guitar ready to be sold so I can officially order my SS1.

One of the guitars I want to sell needed a little fret work, so I dropped it off yesterday for a level and crown as well as cleaning up a few fret ends. Hopefully I’ll be able to get as much as possible for it once it’s in 100% shape.

Curious....How much do they charge for fret level down there? I just had a friend of a friend do one of mine for $75 cash no tax. My regular guy i go to charges $120.

I’ve got to do a little bit of lacquer touch up too but it should be easy enough.
