Oh man, mic'ed or not, my lead boost volume will knock you over,, LOL. not really...that guy would just complain...and call me a primadonna for "wanting my solos to be heard"...i mean you can hear them through the p.a. which is what i care about mainly..basically i try to keep the stage volume as low as possible...what a girl...plus we've suggested all these "fixes" to the problem but he doesn't want to try any of them I WOULDN'T EVEN BE ABLE TO PLAY MY SPLAWN LIVE WITH THESE GUYS IF IT WASN'T FOR THE MIDIVERB TRICK...

sounds like you need a new drummer, not a whole new band....LOL....
I mean, how DARE you want to hear what you're playing on stage! spare me...guy sounds like a tool to me....I guess he doesn't realize the fact that everyone has to turn up to compete with the DRUMS! not the other way around..it's not like they have to play harder to be heard....
in my experience, drummers are by far the biggest pain in the ass to deal with, in general

I guess it depends on WHAT your playing. We play all guitar-orientated 80's stuff. The guitar HAS to be loud, it has to be in your face. These are songs built around the riff.
Nobody complains about my volume, except once in a great while the rhythm guitar player, and I just tell him, too bad. I'm playing lead, I'm turning up. If you don't like it theres the door ...LOL.

I try to be mindful of everyone in the band...and I'm tolerant of other people's volumes and styles and whatnot..but one thing I can't stand is not beign heard...I have a great ear and if I can't hear myself then chances are, nobody else can...so it's gotta go up =)
