yeah, we all bought guitars amps and post silly opinions on this URL because there were like 2000 meteoric riffs from the 80s.
I 2nd the nomination for the intro to "Number of the Beast" and will include another favorite;
any riff from Def Leppard "Die Hard the Hunter".
But let's face it, can anyone beat the ultimate 80s riff; "Breaking the Law"? I challenge you to find a dumber, more classic riff! lol
