yeah, I know who she is now...frankly I don't see what the big deal is..other than she's hot...and she can play, but she ain't the second comming either...these friggin' online mags and print mags..making legends outta everybody....pitiful

Well hes playing guitar better than Van Halen did on that last tour. ..but hey who cares if hes playing a sports bar? He sold 5 million+ very influential records. He surely doesn't have to prove anything at this point. I'd rather see him at a club then never play again. ..all the best players I know play small clubs and sports bars ... not arenas. there is no way in hell that playing is better than VH on the last tour...please...that is horrible...any one of us can play shot in the dark better than that. im not kidding |

In one thread you guys have talked bad about Jake E. Lee, Warren Demartini, George Lynch, EVH and Zakk,DAMN! Possibly 5 of my all time favorite players. If somebody says something bad about Angus Young I swear I'm gonna lose it!

In one thread you guys have talked bad about Jake E. Lee, Warren Demartini, George Lynch, EVH and Zakk,DAMN! Possibly 5 of my all time favorite players. If somebody says something bad about Angus Young I swear I'm gonna lose it! I think all the people in this thread have nothing but love for the players mentioned. These guys are the people that made us pick up the guitar and want to play. Time just marches on and these guys have just settled for certain styles/tones/booze/smokes etc. Fallen Idols I guess. We've not seen a lot of Jake and what we have seen, wasn't the amazing stuff of 1986. Same goes for all those guys really. Even Yngwie, is a shadow of his '80's' self these days. I would add however that Nuno, Romeo and Thal amongst others, still continue to shine to this day. They all used to be on fire and now, not so much. Angus on the other hand has always and always will be on fire, because that guy is unchangeably awesome. |
