Awesome MH! I love hearing stories like that. it makes me feel like anyone can quit. Dennis, nobody that knows my Wife thought that she would ever quit. She was that big of a junkie  If we can quit, anyone can. It just takes a few weeks.  |

I'm fascinated with conversations with addicts. I don't have an addictive personality (except for guitar) and have always found the "excuses" for not quitting very entertaining. One day I was talking to a smoker who had quit cold turkey. When I asked him how he quit he said this " well it was really easy for me. I just envisioned that everytime I put a cigarette to my lips that I was putting Satans penis in my mouth and I'm not a fag so it really wasn't hard for me to quit" I thought that was the most influential thing I could have heard as a non (heterosexual) smoker. So those of you who smoke and are "hetero" just envision that and I'm sure you'll be fine. If not.........you're a friggin homo! LOL!!!

Yeah it's not impossible. Today is the last day for me, hopefully. so how's it going so far? and note I'm totally ignoring TJ...=) LOL...well...I din't make the weekend quit date...BUT...today is the day...I'm going for it. What sucks is that I have a 2.5 hour drive to a job site both ways and then to band practice. ^%#$%#& No one better get in my way on the road today,lol. |
