well I dont' really like what the rocktron does in the loop, regardless of full power of half power..that's why I'm doing with the suck knob....so I can use the DD 20 in the loop Ah, sorry Matt I think I missed that bit of the discussion. Sounds like a plan mind you, you'll have to report back on how you think it alters the tone. Has anyone tried the omni Vs TuskerKevs Suck Knob? I know that they are essentially the same, but I imagine Kevs boxes are better quality all round. Additionally is the new loop volume essentially the same? |

I've played them both in the comfort of my home without liquor  The Comp is definitely pissier and stiffer. |

Yeah, let's not forget that Splawn has confirmed this, and they're probably going off more than clips.  Something to do with the lack of clean channel makes the Comp angrier and more forward. I don't know if it's truly brighter; a lot of QR guys seem to turn their treble off, which is not something I do on the Comp, blunts the notes too much. It's no big deal this extra stiffness and boldness the Comp has, we just need to be that bit better players than the QR boys, and luckily we are. |

Poor Girl only has the one leg, I guess that's what happens when you don't opt for the 2 channels. Your also forgetting that TJ is in that line up and I've seen the chicks that man attracts. Seems he also attracts quality amplifiers and talented musicians. |

I plugged the Omni in once and hated it. I use Kevins quite a bit and think it works great. I don't know if the pots are different values or what but they sounded quite different. |

I would love a Super Comp but I need a clean channel. Does the amp clean up well if you roll down your guitar volume ?
