Ordered one a couple weeks ago, already finding the wait less than easy. Sold my Mesa head to fund so have no other tube amp to play in the interim.
Whats been everyones general experience with wait time thus far ? 10-12 weeks the norm, min or max ?

12 weeks seems about normal right now. I'm 10 weeks into my build so I feel for you.

I ordered mine the first week in November. Should be here sometime next week I'm guessing. I think it has been about 15 or 16 weeks now...

Man, if you're only a couple weeks in then be prepared for it to get much worse. When I ordered my Competition I had to wait even longer than they said I would. You'll start to wonder if the amp is even worth waiting for, if it's really that good... Then the amp comes and you realize it kicks SO much ass it was worth every day you had to wait. You'll be amazed

I'm waiting on mine but don't mind the wait  I thought I would go crazy in the past and always bought used. Not anymore. Knowing when I go pick mine up from Splawn that I'm the 1st to play the beast is worth it to me! he he he he he And plus I don't have the fret of shipping |

Wait a minute......You mean to tell me we are not suppose to build the amps ourselves???
Oh my gosh, I am 10 weeks into my build and I knew something was wrong.....I haven't been able to get past the frame yet.....
JK....LoL................... Just a small attempt at humor to get yall's minds off the wait.....

my splawn took just under 5 months. i dont know if it varies from amp to amp though

I'm about 4 weeks in!! I actually just called Rock solid amps and switched my order to just a straight up Competition, instead of the super comp. Which i am TOTALLY stoked on!! Derik was saying to expect it mid to late july. Im shooting for August and even still im Cool with that!! I know im only 4 weeks in but, when you stay busy the weeks go fast!! I am leaving for a small tour next week !! Three dates in New Jersey One date in Richmond Virginia Two dates in Chicago Anyone is welcome to come out!! YEEEHAWW  |
