Ah, an exciting time! What you plugging it into when it arrives, in terms of pickups and speakers?

Got it yesterday, didn't get much time with it yet but its awesome -everything I expected.
Using an Orange oversize style Lopoline Sig series 2x12 with a Weber C1230-55 and a Mesa C90.
Guitars are an 80's Kramer Pacer with GFS NeoVin singles and an RG550 (rosewood fboard) with an Air Zone in the neck and a handwound Smits MT14-2 in the bridge. Both are fully scalloped and have no tone controls and 1M pots/560pf treb bleed cap.

Full scallop – respect. ;D
Let us know how those NeoVins like the Competition, I'm always interested in new pseudo-singles.

Scallops are great, I've got fat fingers with wide flat tips and have to try to keep proper left hand form above the fretboard.
The Neo's sound great, I do use a 1M pot though. Got the rock set but see they've changed the set makeup and added to the lineup. Mine are a Neo9/Neo7/Neo7.
Had Custom Shop Texas Specials in previously with 500K pot and they compare favorably but different, couldn't take the 60 cycle noise. Close enough to traditional SC sounds for me and clearer with a tad more output then the TS's, tad less mid's and quack but still plenty. The TS neck pup was muddy to me and at one point had switching and a 1M pot for that pup alone which sounded good, but sounded shrill for the brid/mid pups.

Man, if you're only a couple weeks in then be prepared for it to get much worse. When I ordered my Competition I had to wait even longer than they said I would. You'll start to wonder if the amp is even worth waiting for, if it's really that good... Then the amp comes and you realize it kicks SO much ass it was worth every day you had to wait. You'll be amazed Now that I've had the amp a month now I had to go back and say how true this post was and what a kick I got out of it when I first read it before I had the amp. :>)
