I had a midiverb and I got rid of it. Hated the damn thing. I wouldn't control the volume with it like I have heard some of you guys doing. Low volume sounds great, but there is nothing like fully cranked. Speaker breakup is great. The more air you move, the tone will become really awesome. Only downside..............you won't be able to hear within 5-10 years! LOL

Only downside..............you won't be able to hear within 5-10 years! LOL the midiverb just allows you to add a second master volume...if you want to crank it you can set the midiverb to full and you get 100% of the amp's volume...with the midiverb low you get the master volume "tone" from the splawn but can control it for your room...it's just like having a second master volume to control the splawn's master volume...i doubt highly the midiverb broke his amp...my buddy's been using that trick ever since they came out in all honesty, if it wasn't for the midiverb trick i probably wouldn't have kept this amp...i wouldn't be able to play it in my band

I'm not claiming that the alesis did break my amp..although it was working fine till I started using it in the loop? coincidence? who knows....maybe I had the level button pushed in when I had it pushed out in the QR loop? I don't know...
it was very weird...haven't heard back from scott yet..if I don't hear from him this morning I'm gonna call him on lunch...we'll see what he says....
