The Super Stock was actually one of my favorite amps at the convention. And bill got it? WEAK! This one ROCKED. It had incredible tone and the low gain is probably enough to keep the most technical players in line! this one RIPPED! Hopefully some more people will speak up! Josh

Was absolutely MY favorite of the day!!! Has all that classic tone, just sooo much tighter and ballsy!!! And i am such a sucker for the vintage styling of the whole package!!! But don't get me wrong....i will have permanent damage from that Nitro i'm sure!!!! LOL!!

Sounds like this may be the one for me . I've been reading about the nitro and all the gain but lately my QR seems to have too much gain in 3rd gear. Its funny . a year ago I was playing a mesa f50 . Then I bought a Marshall tsl 100 and it didn't have enough gain . Then I got a QR and it was way lacking in the gain dept . Now a few months later .I'm loveing 1st gear od 2 and 3rd gear is just way to saturated.

!st gear OD2 is my fav too. And if I need a more modern sound I have been digging 2nd OD2 with the gain and bass back a little. More bass pumping out of 2nd gear. 3rd gear od1 is cool as well...OD2 is over the top.

Compared to the Quick Rod...how different is the tone? I am aware that the gain will get to 1st gear on the Quick Rod. What are the specs? Clean channel? OD1 and 2? This is what I wanted out of the Quick Rod. I wanted more of the Plexi Tones! So, is there 3 gears?
I have been waiting on this amp for almost a year! Scott was tellin me about it a year ago.

Awesome sig Big John! Great to meet you!
See my response in Vom's picture thread about the Super Stock. I was really shocked at how beautiful it sounded. Me and shred were saying on the way down that we weren't too interested in that, just more the Nitro. That was until I got down there and played it. Holy cow that thing smoked! Sounds amazing.

Whats really cool is that Scott is coming out with different amps and voicing them different. Seems like he is wanting to appeal to a wide range of musical styles.

Yeah he really does consider the opinions of his customers. What's even better is that no matter what he puts out still retains the character and qualities of all his amps.
