Don your missing the obvious . Or maybe its just obvious because I've been married for 20 years . Don't ask her to let you go ,tell her your going. Then tell her that if she really cared about you she should want to go with you no matter where you are going just to get to be with you . Now the shoe ( or should I say the guilt trip) is on the other foot .Then tell her you will get her the spa day and act as if you'll miss her if she doesn't go.. . maybe even offer to send her to the theater to see T.J and D.C. do a live performance of "Deliverance". Gotta go I think I hear banjos |
