in the 80's I listenned to alot of Saga, Pat Metheney, Queensryche, Frank Zappa, Scorps, U2, Judas Priest, ACDC, ....I have a bootleg from a show I did with a 80's 'pop' band in early 86' it was recorded off of the board...we were called 'The Light' (LAME CITY is more like it...) I can post a few tunes from it if anyone gives a dang...I was using a JCM800 and Roland JC120 for cleans...we actually had a pro video that ran on MTV for a few rounds in late 85'.... I mention it for two reasons: 1) it is original 80's pop played in the 80's LIVE and 2) I'm using a Marshall JCM800 with only a customized DOD 250 OD (by EVH guitar amp guy) and my guitar (ala dirrtycraig...dry and clean as a whistle...) these guys were playing 'woosie' pop when the drummer and I kicked it up a little...BAM!

don't forget Better off Dead, One Crazy Summer =D cusack is my most favorite actor of all time... "Gee Ricky, I'm real sorry your mom blew up" I said that to my bass player when his head went kaput at our last gig afterwards...he's cool enough that he didn't get bent

Yeah but Jim, nobody ever agrees with you, so it makes us feel even better that you disagree. HAHAHAHAHAHA.
I love Cusak too, High Fidelity friggin' rocks. I used to work part-time in a record store EXACTLY like that when I was 19. All old vinyl, bootlegs and hard to find stuff.. that movie is great.
