I saw a splawn being used on this strange but good tribute show about Kiss,Deaf Leopard and..cant remember the other ...but it had tributes done by other bands and one guy was using a splawn...I think its just matter of time...glad I have mine on order...

Not really a sighting but I was surprised that a local amp tech that I was put on to... knew of splawn when I mentioned that I had one on order..this guy is also the sound guy for one of Australias best known muso's (Jonny Deisel)...he said he had seen a guy using a splawn recently...when I asked his opinion..all he said was it was.. amazing!....so the word is getting around here in Oz ..

Hey guys,
Sorry to be a little late to this thread. Here is my WARREN story for ya. I go to see Ratt back in 2002 at my local dive bar. Warren and co. deliver as usual. After the show me and some of my buddys are hanging out after the show just talking with everyone and all of the guys in Ratt except Warren(who is on the bus with a bad cold). So anyway, I have brought my ancient Charvel with me that I had rebuilt and painted to look like Warren's crossed sword Charvel. As we are leaving, my buddy knocks on the door of the tour bus. Aguy answers the door and tells him that all I want is for Warren to sign my guitar. He takes the guitar inside and quickly comes back and says that Warren wants to meet me. So we go on the bus and hang with the man himself for about an hour. He is very gracious. He signs my Charvel for me,we talk guitars and amps. Really cool and down to earth dude. We talk about some of the stories that we all have read in the mags.(i.e.George Lynch stealing his marshalls from his house during his daughters party to Micheal Schenker and George watching videos at his house). All kinds of cool stuff, even having a beer with the man. One of the best times I have ever had hanging out with an idol.
