now, I refuse to buy maiden CDs now not because of the bruce story, but because they just flat out suck these days..lol

Maybe he was raggin that day. Who knows? Good rule of thumb in my book would be "If you're raggin.....save it for when you're alone. You're a musician and you need to be in a good mood and gracious to your fans. They're what makes your livelihood" I was ticked off that night at Ye Olde Bruce. Little jerk he was being. If I would have had a harness I would have put him in it and tossed his dwarf ass across the room. LOL!!!

yeah...there's a story on the web that's very similar to yours...i forgot where i saw it... this guy had one of WARREN!!!!!'s old guitars and wanted him to authenticate that he actually owned it...WARREN!!!!! wouldn't even look at it or sign it... that bites big time when one of your hereos is an ass...but then again...he is WARREN!!!!!!... (i met evh twice and he was great both times ) It does suck when that happens. I just can't understand how someones head can get so big. I mean think about it, if you're nice to your fans they'll buy more records and merch from you. If you're not you'll have your stories shared on internet forums and more people including the fan you insulted won't buy anything else from you. Iron Maiden's Bruce thingyinson was a jerk to us. Shredder will hate to hear this but I have not bought one single cd or anything that has to do with Iron Maiden since that time. I won't contribute to someone's business who treats customers (fans) like dirt. Hey TJ, Here there a thread on the d!ck story? The spell checker changes d!ck to thingyinson. LOL

Totally true though. He came up with some really cool riffs that hooked us all. I give props to all the really cool drop D riffs in rock guitar but I still stand by my earlier statement that no one to this day has come up with a cooler riff than "Lay it down" WARREN!!!!!!!

He did sign my old Ratt t-shirt and made a comment about how old it was. He seemed to appreciate that. Maybe he didn't have a contract with Hanes because it was a screenstars. Too bad TJ wasn't there. We could have just stuck the t-shirt to the guitar while the ink was still wet. LOL We should start a thread about Star meetings, D*ckhead or Not D*ckhead.

Lay it Down is one of the best. Hmmm, what was that guy's name again? The dude that wrote penned that riff?? I bet even his buddy, Georgie, said, "that's a killer riff."
Can't remember his name, tho. Someone help me out.
