Awhile back when I was working with badcat, Eddie played one of the tonecat heads, was drunk off his ass (as usual), completely said it was the best sounding amp he ever played & that he wanted two delivered to his door within the week... Now James (at badcat) has only ever given away two amps, one to aerosmith & one to metallica, & even they liked it so much that they bought more stuff, etc. So he was not in any mood to give away an amp to a drunken shredder who smelled terribly of cheap rum & cigarettes. He said well cool, if you want um you got um, how do you want to pay? Eddie looked real confused & said, pay? I never have to pay for my peaveys. Wth? F__k your amps & F__K you man & stumbled off haha. His representative later came up & apologized to us & said he would pay for the amps out of his account if they could be delivered in a few days to his house without him knowing he had payed for them. Explained that he thinks he gets more for free than what he does Thought that was a worth while story to share. This happen about 3 to 4 months ago. -Brent

Wow that guitar that Crosby is playing is hideous!! I dig Warren's guitars. When I saw them playing at that dive he really had good tone. It was a much bluesier tone than metal. He was playing a lot on his neck pickup that night. He also was blazing a bit on a telecaster. All the guitars were Performance guitars. I talked with him after the show and wanted him to sign my Wayne Monster guitar. He wouldn't do it. Said he couldn't because of his deal with Performance. I sat there with a sad look on my face and said "WARREN!!!"

Nothing really. He wasn't mean about it. I agree with you on it being a lame excuse not to sign. But hey, what are you going to do? If a guy won't sign his name to a guitar of one of his fans then he's obviously 1 of 2 things. 1. He's a good endorsee to have and remains loyal to who's giving him guitars 2. He's a prima donna and is way too big for his own britches. I spoke with Michael Charvel about it and he was kind of miffed that he wouldn't sign it being that they had been giving him Wayne guitars for a while. I choose to think he was being number 1 cause if that wasn't the case and I wasn't such a nice guy he would have been in a big pile of number 2. LOL!!!

(i met evh twice and he was great both times ) It does suck when that happens. I just can't understand how someones head can get so big. I mean think about it, if you're nice to your fans they'll buy more records and merch from you. If you're not you'll have your stories shared on internet forums and more people including the fan you insulted won't buy anything else from you. Iron Maiden's Bruce d!ckinson was a jerk to us. Shredder will hate to hear this but I have not bought one single cd or anything that has to do with Iron Maiden since that time. I won't contribute to someone's business who treats customers (fans) like dirt.
