I don't normally like shawn lane, but he was on FIRE in that namm video! I like when people do things that sound palatable and make sense...lol...
that chicken pickin' guy was pretty insane too...
but, what's up with the friggin bucketheads? that vexes me

HAH! and you thought I was all about the rock n' roll..hehe that morse model's gorgeous isn't it? they've fallen outta favor with me recently, but they don't get much prettier than EBMM tops, that's for sure!!!! great tone..I love when you have that crisp clean type of twang sound goin' and you start muting the strings on runs like that...that's about as gratifying to me as a good distortion tone |

Thats some pretty cool stuff. I gotta say it though,, I never liked Shawn Lane. I bought his cd years ago when all the hype was out on that guy. Its all the "bad" things about fast players combined into one guy. Nothing to listen to other than the speed. When you hear guys like Don and Jimbax talking about the over the top wanking, its guys like that that give "fast" players a bad name.
That Rhode Island Shred was amazing though,, is that the chiken picken guy your talking about TJ? That was by far the baddest video in there.

Is it true that dude killed himself? What is up with that? i know he had some serious weight issues,, but jeeeesh. I mean he may not have been as mainstream as a Vai or Satch, but nobody is, he had a good career and was well respected among his peers. Too bad for him.
