For some reason the link is not working but someone just paid $172.50 for a burnt copy of a Van Halen live disc from the fair warning tour. I just can't believe the morons out there.

Craig,
How good does it sound? As big as a fan of old VH I am I would never in a million years pay $172.50 for a burnt disc. Just the principle. I hope the winner knows what he is getting. I would pay $175 for live sessions during the recording of Fair Warning or any Roth era record but a handheld tape recorder.. NOWAY JOSE...

Nope not me... I wouldn't feel right knowing I sold a $0.25 disk for that much money! He'll get a warning from ebay soon I bet.

Its a handheld recorder. I have all the VH boots and the only Fair Warning boot that is not a cheap recorder is the Don Kirshner stuff which everybody has. There are no board recordings from Fair Warning tour.

I used to bootleg on ebay and I would always stop the auction early if the bidding started going a little crazy. I usually set BIN anywhere from $12 to $15 on average. The most I ever got for a CD is maybe $20 and DVD's got as high as $45 once in a blue moon. $172.50 is just insane. IMO that seller is a scumbag if he takes that dudes money.

Craig, I have the show from Inglewood CA on June 24 from that tour. It sounds pretty good for a handheld. The 77 soundboard is the best live VH around. I know its titled many different names but I assume its all the same show. I think this guys getting a lot of money cause he is printing the covers and putting fake lables on the disc's themselves. Either way even if it were a silver CD factory pressed its a non-authourized bootleg with decent sound quality at best.

Craig,
Do you have any good live Ratt stuff? They are no problem to bootleg unlike Van Halen who I used to have problems with.

Mot,
I have a few... The best thing floating around video wise is the Osaka Japan show 1991. I have a nice copy of it. I will burn you a copy for $10 shipped.
