Yeah the Inglewood show is good. If I remember right its 2 nights and they sound about the same quality. Probably a roadie recorded show.
I only have 1 Ratt boot on vinyl from the Invasion Tour '85, and its ok but not so great. I do have some exellent Dream Theater boots, but other than VH I never collected any other band.

You wouldn't believe the DVDs I am getting. Bon Jovi 1985 (When they used to shred a little more), Dio (Last pro shot concert with Vivian), Kingdom Come/Ratt/Bon Jovi (New Years 88), Thin Lizzy 81 (w/ Snowy White), Ozzy (with Brad Gillis - Doing Ozzy songs - not the Speak of the Devil stuff!), Ozzy (Bark at the Moon tour), etc.
The guy that I get this stuff from just gives it to me. I give him dvd's and he gives them back with stuff on them! He has like; and I am totally dead serious about this, 600 videos. About 60% of them are pro shot!

you guys really need to get involved with torrents...i download about 8 DVD boot dvds a day...i have about 600 dvds that i haven't even watched yet...
yesterday i downloaded whitesnake proshot with demartini in italy/2 2003 whitesnake dvd boots from pennsylvania and italy/queensryche 91 2 dvds/ rush from 1988/ rush from 94...
greatest technology EVER...and i mean EVER...
the drawback is that a small percentage of this stuff is in PAL format which means your dvd player won't play it...but my computer's dvd player does so, it works....

Vom wheres a good place to start with the torrents stuff? Is it an ftp client based thing or what? Can you explain a bit more, I've heard of it but have no idea how it works.

craig, go to www.bittorrent.com , that explains the technology...it's not FTP... you'll need a bittorent client to download the files...i've tried all of them and azureus is the best... i think it's at www.azureus.comdownload the software...next you'll need to find the torrent files...the websites that i use to download DVDS (and audio if you just want audio) is www.jamtothis.com and www.dimeadozen.orgdime only allows a certain number of members so it's kinda hard to register because you'll have to wait for someone to "leave" before you can register but it's easily the greatest bootleg site on the web...i get 90% of the DVDS from there. jamtothis is good also. you'll need a high speed connection to download this stuff otherwise it'll take weeks but i think you have that already... give it a shot, it's not that hard to get started...if i can figur eit out anyone can...aftr you download a dvd you'll have to have dvd burner/software to make a dvd though give it a try and let me know if you have questions...it's GREAT |
