they should go relatively quick for you..especially the dio stuff...pretty simple..the trooper's not bad either..just gotta be smooth on it...and all the 8th note triplets on the power cords can get tricky to do cleanly..unless you just do the chunky root note...which would also sound good

wow there giving you a lot of homework yeah...i'm in good shape with the first 3 tunes...these other ones i figure i'll have 2 or 3 of them for my audition...they said not to stress out too much if i don't have all of them...i already know 7 other ones...so... i'll be playing a lot this weekend me thinks ;D |

yeah...those guys have seen me play and called me a few weeks before christmas to feel me out if i'd consider playing with them, so it's not like i'm going into a cold audition but, yeah...i need to show them that i can handle the material... wow, so this has been a pretty long process yeah, they told me to sit tight for 3 or 4 weeks until they figure out what to do with the current guy...these guys play out every week so you need to work up a guy behind the scenes while continuing to play shows with the old guy otherwise you have to cancel a month or 2 worth of shows... they told me that if the audition goes well that they're going to speed up the process of losing the current guy... |

flashbacks.... ;D I know all of the ones you listed here and the other thread except the slayer tune and have played the in cover bands...fun times. I stopped doing the cover thing and did all originals for a long time....I've been pondering the idea of getting a cover band together just for fun....seems like there is a market for it and venues to play out  |
