I love bein' in a coverband..sure, our first year was rocky (now on drummer #3!! hope it's our last..can you say spinal tap??) but things are FINALLY starting to get smooth

My cover band pays for all my gear and then some... without it I would not have the means to buy Splawn gear, studio gear, nice acoustics, etc etc etc... Doing covers can be a great means to doing originals if your work it right.

"yes belvedere, i believe my checkerboard vans need a thourough cleansing" i picked up a fresh pair of checkerboard vans myself...i had 2 old pairs black checkerboard and red checkerboard...my friends would always give me a hard time about them but you can't believe how many girls came up to me and said they liked them... vans rule! plus, i love fast times at ridgemont high |

my area was one of the last areas in CT to get cable...i remember i was 13 and the cable guy comes to my house to install cable...some of you younguns don't know life without cable...cable was a big deal ;D...so, the cable guy connects everything..
me, my sister, and my mom were in the room...he's like "let me see if this works now"...turns on the tv and without even changing any channels the scene from fast times where phoebe cates comes out of the pool is playing...he's like "yikes!...uh let me find something else...."...i've been in love with that movie ever since...
