Cool! if that's first gear and straight into the amp then my amp is only getting 1/2 or less the gain your getting....I don't even get that much gain with my amp in 3rd gear and OD2 with gain dimed!

Sounds good. Would sound even better without the reverb and rolling back the bass a bit.

Man, the playing is really good, but you got to get rid of the reverb. It sounds like the amp is in a big tin can!

Hey Vom, sounds great. I don't think the reverb would sound nearly as wet if you had a full band behind you. Was that 'verb in your loop, or added at the computer? BTW.....No time for Ratt clips!!!!.....MR. CROWLEY!!!!...MR. CROWLEY!!!...MR. CROWLEY!!!! LOL! J/K dude.

J/K dude. i agree with ya goyle... a) the original version is far from dry and b) i jam along with the song playing and it sounds fine...that's another song i had to learn for my audition...learned the solo just now...mr. crowley is pretty much done, just need to keep playing it to get it a bit smoother.... so i'm in good shape with the 3 songs they gave me...now i'm going to learn some more of their stuff...i already now 7 of their other songs so i'd like to walk in there knowing more than they gave me to learn...know what i mean?...thanks for the support my man. oh yeah...the reverb is in the loop

Oh, I know what you mean alright. The more you know, the better off you are. It's BOUND to help your odds of gettin' the gig. I'm sure the Splawn will help tilt the scales in your favor too.

Hey, what are you doing to record you clips? Whats the signal chain? Gear? Mics? etc.?

i'm using a line 6 ux2...cab>mic (sm57)>ux2>computer (bypass all the ux2 models)
the signal chain for that clip is straight in with a midiverb 4 in the loop adding reverb...gear 1 od2 (dimed)
after recording that clip i turned down the bass to noon and brought up the mids a bit...sounded better...

Cool playing Vom, but ouch the reverb overload!!! What guitar are you using, it doesn't even sound like a QR to me at all, no bottom definition, or tightness and real fuzzy.. are you running direct somehow? whats a ux2? yeah........ i'm pretty sure that this is going to be my last clip
