Maybe that came off badly!!! Please edit your posts and remove my quotes. I didn't mean it that way.
Let me remind Vom and everyone that his clips on the VHForum sold me on the Quick Rod.

I think your 'gain' sounds great! especially in 1st gear...man, my amp doesn't get that even in 3rd gear...

dude, ya just dropped coin on your recording setup and now you're not gonna make any more clips? lol.. c'mon now your clips are fine! actually what we SHOULD do is a friggin' forum jam...I leave the drums and backing tracks to motrock because he seems to know how to do it and where to get them..lol..then we all take turns whaling over it... what say ya's? anyone, anyone??

LMAO.... speaking of doing something like this...how do you guys do this? I mean, I know you import the file into your recording software, blah blah blah..but do you listen to what's comming outta the computer with headphones as you play your guitar and record over it? I did this once before when I put the lead to 'In My Dreams' down over at the SD forum..but since I didn't have the headphones, I had to keep everything really quiet so the mic didn't pick up what was commin' outta my computer speakers as I tried to record over it...LOL

I gave $4.99 for 450 decent songs. ( yea some better than others, normal!) the kicker? transpose those tunes in E or ?? get a half decent Karaoke machine! believe it or not they will transpose up or down +12 -12 steps or more. I re-record them to the key I want. Then cakewalk plays back the song through the mixer, into headphones, the splawn gets kick in the *ss though a different channel.. poof.. all tracked.. go back and level, and normalize, and finalize. IF I had more internet bandwidth I would let all of ya get as many as you wanted from the ftp site. I have over 500.. but no internet speed. 768k up.

;D ;Dit's cool bro...my clips aren't really that good Vomhalen, my .02 cents,, first thanks for the clip, I heard alot of things I liked with your setup.. it showed me what could be added to my effects package. it was very usefull listening. I too, dont like my sound dry all the time or it can end up sounding all the same through out a multi hour jam. there was one place in your recording that just killed. I am going to find that and add it to my box of sounds. Keep tracking stuff :-) it touches people more than you know.
