that's awesome! did you tap your foot on the 'vocal' part or did you have a click track? (Trooper) you have such a nice 'clean' approach/control of the guitar...I'm impressed! (I have soooo much clanging around and extraneous clumsy noises etc when I play...)...I was trying to think of a 'criticism' or something that might be helpful to you...and the only thing that I thought of was that the solos could use a little more 'gain' IMHO...you know KICK IT up a few notches! I REALLY enjoyed listenning to it! (once I fugured how to download it from that sight...)

Thanks Jim and Shred! In all honesty, that stuff comes so natural to me its like riding a bike. I still need to work on some timing issues, but I am getting better. I only recently started working with backing tracks. I am so used to just putting on the cd and jamming along. My last guitar teacher was in to jazz, fusion, and classic metal. He really instilled the whole clean approach in me. I think it has to do with palm muting. Thats a big thing with me. I also pick really hard!
Ya, the solo's might need a little more gain. I probably should hit in OD 2 when I record the solo's!

I'll tell you whats been kicking my butt........I'm The One by Van Halen. I have a killer backing track to it and its killing me. I might try to redo it tomarrow with my Splawn. I had my Mojave cranked to almost full blast. But the Splawn is easier on the ears! So think I will just use it!

Good stuff motrock! I love the Maiden stuff. I just rebought the "Killers" CD because my tape was worn out! That Pro Mod sounds pretty darn good. Is that with KT88's? Man I miss mine, I really need to play a show so I can take it out of the studio.

Man I miss mine, I really need to play a show so I can take it out of the studio. I call it a Pro Mod, but its a Splawn Modded Marshall. Its been gutted and the Pro Mod was inserted. The chasis and the power supply were the only things left. It has KT88s and the MM transformers. Check it out:
