donalddemon, Sorry, I should apologize. Its not like that at all. That clip is great and the playing is great. It is slightly annoying to me that every post tubez makes has something to do with some other great amp and nothing to with Splawn. Thats why he gets negative reactions here. I personally feel its disrespectful to Scott Splawn and the fans here who support him. Nobody would react that way to Splawn clips or cool dudes who actually post THEIR OWN CLIPS. Yeah tubez, I know I'm a jerk, whatever.. LMAO. Yeah Craig, I could see how that is slightly annoying. I never noticed myself. I guess to be fair we should be open to hear other amps as well but if its just to put down Splawn amps then that's not cool. I love hearing other amps personally but most clips are pretty much crap compared to most of the Splawn clips I have heard. I really mean it when I say I got the exact sound I was always looking for on the last two songs I have been working on in the studio. The funny part is that I had the amp for only a few hours before bringing it to the studio where it has remained since. I don't even take much time to hone in on the sound because time is money there (and alot of $$ too  ). All knobs are pretty much in the middle and it sounds killer! |

I know, of course everyone likes other amp brands to some degree, even Scott. But its like d@mn man, ok you don't like the Splawn, fine, move on, get over it, quit p1ssing on my parade. Does anyone really want to hear it? I don't and I sure wouldn't go over to Mojave or Soldano or Plexi-palace and rip on their stuff on their site. Thats not cool.
Its like walking into Mcdonalds with a Burger King whopper and eating it in front of other customers and saying mmmm I had one of THOSE, but this better. GTFO.
Sorry, my rant is over, back to peaceful, fun Splawn talk.

I thought the playing was fine, not my bag but I can appreciate it. reminds me of the whole Shrapnel stable of players who after a while all started to sound the same (to me anyway)

well, they actually put the butter on the bun....but, it's still there and it is GOOD! pure angus beef, always fresh, never frozen....you know the drill...then for dessert they have the 'Culver's Custard' which is nothing but VERY VERY RICH ice Cream! Sundaes, cones, it is MAJOR GOOD! I think this place is a govt. ploy to reduce the population...there are alot of Wisconsin FATTIES up here...I'm trying my hardest to fight the trend....
