Sounds direct to me. Too many effects. Good player though.

on a bit of a critical note...this guy plays EXACTLY like the neo/classical/funk/fusion guys that the 'guitar schools' are spitting out by the thousands...totally 'unoriginal'....how about some 'risks'....(not that I have it all goin' on (I DON'T!)...it's just that I've heard tons of these guys....different names but same 'game')...IMHO

I agree, no ballz. No bends or cool vibrato or phrasing. Just alot of semi-outside runs over Dom7 chords and funk grooves. Check out Greg Howe or Scott Henderson for this style, but better.

guy's got some chops, that's for sure! sounds alot like Greg Howe or Ritchie Kotzen..put a bunch of these guys together though and I couldn't tell one from another...
my playing has a distinct 'hasn't practiced in ages' quality that sets me apart...lmao

probably playing a line 6 definitely doesn't sound like a Splawn amp...

I HATE dom7 funk vibes....if someone lays that crud down when jammin' I deliberately go 'Hendrix' on their buttocks...

I like the style, but it wasn't funky enough and too much phasing and effect crap on his sound. No tone at all.

I used to jam with these GIT guys in LA...ALL dom7, altered chord, wankity stuff, I just hate it... then someone tries to bring HEAVY guitar solos over the "Three's Company" soundtrack...not my bag....

Its not a splawn amp. I think he said it was a older marshall super lead or something. Its not direct. I dig the tone (again we disagree greg). As far as his chops yeah I agree its not the most original sounding but I think his arrangements are cool and more complex then what the average player is doing. I used to listen to Greg Howe, Vinnie Moore, Dan Huff etc... so its not like he is doing anything that hasn't been done. No offense to anyone on this board but no one here has posted a clip of any uniqueness either. I certainly am not in that league of player as far as chops go so Its always fun to listen to other players at that level...BTW does anyone know how to post pictures on this darn forum? I can't figure it out....

But what is the point?....this is a 'Splawn' site! I think any of us can post MONSTER jams all day long with guys bringing major chops....but to post this guy playing a Marshall? What is the point? BTW: I think this guy would like a Splawn amp.... it would help him cut a bit better in the mix..

Well, I did own a splawn for a few weeks and been on and off this forum for about 6 months. I know this site is dedicated to splawn gear obviously but I enjoy just communicating with other musicains and gear heads.... Its all good..
