Thanks shreder,did i read on HC that you are going to record your next gig? it would be great to get some live clips on here.. no problem dude =) yeah, I had mentioned something about that...the other guitar player (al..cause I'm sick of typing 'the other guitar player'..hahaha) knows a guy who does professional videos and whatnot...and al also does sound...so he might do us a favor and tape it...which would really rock...for a number of reasons..to see how it sounds live, to showcase my godlike playing (NOT...lol) and to shut some people up who think that the eminence speakers don't sound good/don't cut through in a band mix

What gear were you using? Thanks motrock,i used a Marshall4x12 with celestion G12T-75s,guitar was an Ibanez prestige.settings-OD1 -presence 1 oclock-bass 4.30-middle 2.30-treble12.00-gain 11.30,and the mic right in the middle of the speaker.I have the quickrod with clean EQ but no third gear..

by the way,, its great to know your running a marshall 4x12 cab with G12T-75, as I have one, and a Vintage 30 cab, now I know what I will get to hear when my QR gets here very soon. Very helpfull. Come on Fed-x!!

I'm so not a gearhead with this recording stuff.. same here...I have NO idea where to put my mic...I don't even know which speaker I actually miced for that latest batch of clips! it was the bottom right one....do you know which one that is?!?!?!?

The Mic placement is easy enough, I do it just like the soundguys do it at the gigs, but once I get everything into Cubase is where I get brainfreeze. ...and drums machines, oh don't get me started on drum machines,, bleh.
