Here's some pics of a new geetar I bought at a guitar show last weekend. It is a custom made Japanese guitar with some gorgeous inlay work. Flame maple top, Mahogany body and Rosewood fretboard. She's a beaut! I have always wanted a semi-hollow body and this one plays real nice and sound great through the Splawn! I took a chance on a guitar that is not name brand and it worked out! I took it to my guitar guy (Paul Unkert, used to work for Kramer and build EVH's guitars!) and he said if this was made in the US it would go for around $3000-5000 because of the inlay. Here is my pedalboard as of today Its always changing. The DD-3 and AD-9 delays go in the loop. The Vox wah is modded by Keeley and the yellow FL9 Flanger will soon be replaced by a reissue because the switch is crap on this one.

Good lord dude,, thats the prettiest inlay I've ever seen hands down. I so want to get a hollowbody some day. I've been eyeing those Brian Setzer models for years,, one of these days..

I love effects! I don't have a pic of my board but residing on it are Boss DD3, Boss C2 compressor, MXR phase90, Bad horsie wah, Ibanes TS-808 TS and a destination rotation Leslie simulator. I've got a closet full of old pedals, echoplexes, wah's. I love em!

I found out from Paul (my guitar guy) that the half-horse half-sea serpent in the inlay is Hippocampus www.angelfire.com/pro/realm/Hippocampus.htmlA Greek and Roman creature that pulled Posideon and Neptune's chariot through the sea. Just some history for ya there. I love the Setzer model as well as the Rev. Horton Heat model but they are pretty expensive. I was close to buying the cheaper Ibanez Artcore semi-hollow but then I found this! This guitar is built a hell of a lot better and was about $100 less!

I actually just changed the board around and removed some that I weren't using alot. I need a bigger board

Vom when you see my new pedalboard your going to faint,, LMAO..
I have 3 of those pedals,, the Vox wah, DD-3 and the boss tuner. I haven' used the DD-3 live at all yet,,
I'm not against effects. I think they are cool when used properly. I think based on what I've heard of Dons band they fit really well into that style I just prefer that dry in your face AC/DC vibe too.

I actually play dry most of the time and only use the effects at certain parts live to add some 'flavor'. There is only one song I play where I leave an effect on the whole time and that is the DD-3 with just a hint in the mix.
Craig, do you have a stock Vox? I suggest getting it modded for true bypass or even some of the mods by Keeley. They make a good sounding pedal sound great. The true bypass really brings back the tone.
