I like to run dry cause I'm to lazy to hook up my effects! Basicly it's a race to see who can set there rig up the fastest!

I actually play dry most of the time and only use the effects at certain parts live to add some 'flavor'. There is only one song I play where I leave an effect on the whole time and that is the DD-3 with just a hint in the mix. Craig, do you have a stock Vox? I suggest getting it modded for true bypass or even some of the mods by Keeley. They make a good sounding pedal sound great. The true bypass really brings back the tone. Well I don't have the Vox in-line yet. BUT, when I have used it the VHT Valulator has saved the day once again.. no tone loss even without the mods. I am getting it Keeley modded though cause I want the bypass and AC power., we just got our new setlist worked out and I now need a wah for 2 songs..

d**n, I wouldn't know where to put my fingers. LOL Very cool Don! Haha! That definitely threw me off at first! It still does but I am getting used to it. Luckily it has side dots which is all I see when playing standing up anyway I guess I have to learn to play without looking as much now

I have been looking into getting one for a while but they are kinda costly. I am between that or the Axess BF@ buffer/line spliter. That's nice because I can put the tuner completely out of the chain. I sort of have it set up like that now because there is a tuner out on my EB volume pedal but I don't know if it really removes it totally from the chain. The one thing I like about the VHT is the DC outs to power more pedals:). I just don't have the room on the boeard right now so first it will be a bigger board then a line buffer. I got the TB mod, blue LED, DC jack, vocal mod, Fasel inductor added along with stock inductor, Gain/Bass knob and selector all installed on my Vox. It sounds so sweet now and can do anything from funk to high gain wailing at the flick of a toggle. It also has an internal trim pot for volume! It is basically the "Mello Wah Mods" on his site with a few things changed to my preferences. Robert is a great guy and extremely helpful.

Don thats awesome.. I may just go full out and do that too with all those mods. I mean why not its not like I'm going to be getting a new wah ever. I don't use it enough to wear it out.
Vom, were doing Yankee Rose and I wanna Rock (yeah I know, not my pick,, LMAO)
But were also doing Over The Mountain and Unchain the night which were my picks,,hee hee.

Besides, parts are easy to replace on a wah so the most you would have to worry about would be the pot wearing out. 'I wanna Rock! Rock!...........will somebody get this guy a rock?'

Over The Mountain was Randy par excellence. I know technically I can play his stuff no problem, but I'm hoping to really be able to capture the ballsy agression he got in that solo too... I havent tried it yet. I'll probably learn it tomorrow.
