yea, i find that it won't do the swell and noise thing if i wait for it in standby for like 15 seconds before i finally switch it off. if i switch to standby and then switch it off immediately it'll make that. Wow. I shut down like I start up - standby for at least a couple of minutes! You are more experienced than me with tube amps though; I'm probably babying the thing.

oh well i usually will wait around a minute to finally shut down b/c i'll put up my guitar, organize the cables, etc....then finally shut down. i'm just saying that from what i recall, shutting down after like 15 or 20 seconds seems like enough time for the amp to bleed so you don't get that noise, pop thing.

news flash.I found the problem it was my monster PC.I tried my guitarsists backup(tripleX)and got that same annoying buzz.I plugged the XXX into the wall little to no buzz.I also re-routed the chain of my rack gear.I have always ran my decimator last in the chain as ISP recomends unless delay/flange ect.I am now hitting the decimator first and then into the sonic/GEQ.and the tone I always expected from the nitro is almost there.(re-tweaking time again)
I would like to thank all that had any suggestion to help solve this problem.it really does suck when your gear sounds one way and then you begin getting noise issues out of no where.I checked everything over and over again but never thought to check the monster.lol
