Yeah, I'm still good on gear (still have Recto half stack). I definitely couldn't do without because I've had quite a few gigs since I originally placed the order. Sorry to hear you've only had recording gear in the meantime.

I'm sure things have been crazy. I guess I envision it being as simple as a Dealer or Customer X puts down a deposit, that build is given an order number ("Order 56"), and then they proceed to make them in order as time permits. For example, if the dealer calls in and wants another slot, he's just get the next in line "(Order 57") and they would just make them in order as they were received. So if someone calls in afterwards and the orders have backed up to "Order 70" at that point, a dealer can say "Well, I have one being built much sooner if you'd like to buy from me."

I guess I always pictured it working similar to that, but I guess not since it doesn't make sense with the ones shipping out. Who knows?

dude splatter, sorry to hear that. that's a real bummer that the fedex guy was too lazy to do his job. i've had that happen to me. a couple of things you can do. you could probably go pick up the amp at the fedex sort facility. the info should be on the delivery notice. as for the tracking number, call up scott. scott told me that things have been "very crazy" over there so it's likely that an email notification was just forgotten to be sent out and that's why you didn't know. scott should probably be able to provide you that info.

I was told that if I wanted to pick it up I would have to tell them that today then call back tomorrow and see if they had left it at the facility for me to pick it up .I was told that they have no way to contact the drivers . So what I got from that was if I opt to pick it up it may be thursday before I can get it . So I'm not going that route yet . I lodged an official complaint for all the good its gonna do . A manager is suppose to be calling me back . That probably won't happen either .
I missed a ups delivery once and they contacted the driver and I went and met him and got tha package . Thats the way it should be handled.

haven't played through it yet . Its one Sharp amp .Quality all the way I'll post some pics later tonight .
I was surprised to see the tubes are jj's and not mullards . I guess I didn't notice that i the description . Thats a plus I don't care for mullards .
